Hi everyone!
I'm reaching out to let you know we are postponing the ice cream social. Due to the current state of emergency still in place, and the ongoing wildfire situation and recovery efforts, we know our community has some more important priorities right now.
That being said, we are working on putting together a new event to bring us all together to relax and connect, which is also really important in these stressful times. We are monitoring the regional situation and will announce a date once things are more stable. Though the event will look a bit different in terms of location and activities, there will still be ice cream involved!
If you’ve already registered, you don't have to do anything on eventbrite, the event will be updated automatically with a new date and you'll get an email from me. At that point you are welcome to keep your ticket if you are available to attend, or cancel your ticket.

Connect with new friends and other young professionals at a casual, friendly social in-person, as we explore downtown Kelowna with ice cream in-hand!
What to Expect
We'll be meeting at The Sails (Abbott St. & Bernard), which is in striking distance of some excellent local ice cream and gelato shops. We'll go grab our cones and head over to City Park and find a place to sit!
This is a free event, with ice cream is available for purchase from the nearby shop of your choice (or whatever nearby treat or drink you want to grab, it's your hard-earned money!)
Drop in anytime from 5 - 7 p.m. to meet great people. You'll need to register in advance, and we will also provide instructions of where to meet/how to connect with the group if you're coming after 5:15 p.m.!

There's no membership and we don't sell anything (other than why it's so great to live here). All are welcome to come out and join to connect with other awesome young professionals in our community!
