Level Up Local Tech Grant Returns
Applications are open for the 2023 Level Up Local grant, developed in partnership between Prospera Credit Union and Accelerate Okanagan.

This funding opportunity is designed to assist small businesses located in the Okanagan that are needing a boost to their tech strategy and tools.

It can cover many costs including; optimizing SEO, creating social media and digital marketing campaigns, website development, or even software and hardware costs that enable operational efficiency and business growth. 
Summit on Responsible Investment
The Canadian Securities Exchange, in collaboration with Sparx Publishing Group, invites you to the first-ever Summit on Responsible Investment on June 27, 2023, at the Innovation Centre in downtown Kelowna, BC.

This event, sponsored by MNP, Dentons, Odyssey Trust, Socialsuite and BTV, will provide insights into and updates on socially responsible investing (SRI) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) trends and regulations.
Take Action on Radon - Get a free detector to test your workplace
Employers are responsible to ensure a safe environment for their clients and workers. If you or your employees work in an indoor environment, you should test your workplace for radon.

The 2023 radon test kit program is focused on general workplaces and Medical and Healthcare professional buildings/offices. If your workplace is located within Central Okanagan you can, while supplies last, get a free radon detector to test your office this Fall by pre-registering here

Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society Open House & Hiring Event
Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society (KFS) will be hosting a hiring event and open house with community partners and employers in collaboration with WorkBC Employment Services. 

This event is to support Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society (KFS), local employers, and local community partners with recruitment and employment and skill development programs. KFS will provide open house tours of their facility.
BuyBC Partnership Program - Now accepting applications!
The Buy BC Partnership Program funding application intake is now open!

The Buy BC Partnership Program is providing $2 million this year to help eligible applicants undertake local marketing activities that increase consumer awareness and sales of local agriculture, food and beverage products.

Funding is available for B.C. producers, processors, and industry associations to support local marketing activities that increase consumer awareness and sales of B.C. agriculture, food, and beverage products.

The application intake window is open from May 15 until June 4, 2023.
