Are you a small business? You could qualify for a rebate!

The Ministry of Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation has launched its $10.5 million Securing Small Business Rebate Program, which will provide small businesses with funds for eligible commercial property crime and vandalism repairs or to implement eligible preventative measures. The application portal is now open, and closes on January 31, 2025.

e@UBCO Startup Sprint teaches entrepreneurial skills in an extreme hands-on environment. This program provides the tools, learning, and practical experience needed to start a successful business. The program is FREE to anyone in the community who is seeking to build their entrepreneurial skillset. Applications are due by Monday, January 22, 2024, as spots are limited.

Make your business more accessible

The Workplace Accessibility Grant provides direct supports to small business employers in British Columbia by providing direct financial assistance towards creating an accessible work environment for persons with a disability(ies). Eligible businesses can apply for funding for projects that improve workplace accessibility in the business, while addressing and removing barriers in your workplace for people with disabilities.

In partnership with the Small Scale Food Processor Association (SSFPA) and delivered by the Farm Food Drink team of specialists, the Food Business Planning Workshop is a two-day, nine-module workshop series in Kelowna.
