Featured Community Event

Kelowna Pride Week & Festival 

The Interior's largest Pride Festival returns to Kelowna June 2 - 11, 2023, with more than 18 different events taking place over the week. Check out a drag show, chat over coffee, have a picnic, dance the night away, take a deep breath at a yoga class and many more events to celebrate love, diversity, and inclusivity.

On June 8, the Trans Pride Celebration takes place across two locations - the Kelowna Art Gallery and Rotary Centre for the Arts, followed by a show and social at Friends of Dorothy Lounge. 

On June 10, walk in the Pride March and stick around for the Pride Festival at City Park - full of vendors, entertainment for all ages, food and a beverage garden.

The OYP Collective is creating a dynamic, vibrant culture and community that attracts and retains young professionals to the Okanagan Valley through a variety of volunteer, social, professional, sports, arts, cultural events and activities.

The OYP is a COEDC program built in response to the 2020 Labour Market Outlook report stating that the Okanagan will require over 75,000 new workers by the year 2020 
(“Growing in the Okanagan – 2020 Labour Market Outlook” report).
